It's Just A Dance.

Find your partner tonight.

You see someone across the floor. You want to ask. You don't.

It's Just A Dance removes the hardest part of a night out — the ask. Check in at your venue. Get your color. Find someone who wants to dance too.

The flow

One song. One moment.
One dance.

01
Check in
Arrive at your venue. The app detects it automatically. You get a color for the night — your identity on the floor.
02
Browse
See who else is there and looking to dance. Each dancer shows their role, skill level, and rating badge if earned. No photos. No names. Just compatibility.
03
Ask
Tap Ask on someone who looks like a fit. They never know unless they ask you back. No one-sided rejection. Ever.
04
Find each other
When it's mutual, both phones light up with your match's color. Leave it on the rail. They'll find you.
05
Dance
That's it. Go dance. When the song ends, rate the experience and get back out there.
06
Take the Memory, Leave the Rest
When you check out, everything disappears. No connections that follow you home. It's just a dance.

"Built for dancers, not daters. No photos. No messages. No profiles that follow you home."

— It's Just A Dance

Our promise

Designed differently,
on purpose.

🚫
No photos. Ever.
Your dance card has no picture. You're a color and a shape. Compatibility is about skill, style, and role — nothing else.
🔒
Mutual matching only.
Both dancers must express interest before any connection is made. Nobody knows they've been turned down. The fear of rejection disappears.
💬
No messaging.
There's no inbox, no chat, no way to slide into someone's DMs. This isn't a dating app. We mean it.
🌙
Session ephemerality.
When you check out, everything from that session is gone. Color, matches, history. The night ends clean.
📍
Venue-bound.
The app only works at registered dance venues. You can't use it to track or find someone outside a venue. Ever.
Ratings that matter.
Post-dance ratings follow your account permanently — not your session. The community self-corrects over time, organically.
